In a city of aliens, two aliens, (known here in new york city as “dara” and “nora”) from neighboring galaxies far far away, are celebrating their birthdays as they do on their home planets – with strange ceremonies known on earth as “dance party”.
This “dance party” will also be a going away celebration for the one known here as “nora”, who is returning to her home planet.
Suggested attire: Out of this world supernatural space inhabitant, luminous mutant space goddess, exotic refugee sky creature, mod space bubble fantasm, silvery pie in the sky suits, space men, green men, glowing rings, stars, tubing, mirrors, molds and membranes, martians, space invaders, britelite, space hallucination, and pocket rockets.
We’re trying to help out a neighboring galaxy, so we’re collecting donations at the door to benefit Dwa Fanm (a Haitan organization whose mission is to empower all women and girls with the freedom to define and control their own lives.)
Suggested donation $5-$20, but no one turned away for lack of funds.
